National Asthma Center
National Asthma Centre started at NIDCH campus on April 2005 for proper and update management of asthma patient by the effort of asthma association and Bangladesh government. It is proposed 10 storied building. Now as first phase work 5 storied building working with 70 bedded Hospital, running for the last 5 years.
It is a well-equipped international standard Hospital for the management asthma & COPD patients having both indoor & outdoor service facilities.
In OPD
1. There are many qualified chest physician who are devoted for giving service to the asthma & COPD patient.
2. OPD service is given in patient’s member guide book as a regular follow up appointment system.
3. There are several type of booklet (bangali version) for better understanding of asthma in special situation.
4. Facilities for nebulization in OPD by the help of asthma association
5. Asthma education by video film show & group lecture for asthma patients.
6. Emergency patient’s needs Hospitalization is admitted in asthma center indoor.

In-patient department is proposed 250 bed now running 70 beds mainly occupied by medical cases but there is a big operation theatre & post-operative ward.
