To promote collaboration of medical scientists interested in chest and heart diseases and in allied diseases. To encourage and undertake research and other scientific work in the field of chest and heart disease. To co-operate with other nation and international organizations for research and dissemination of knowledge field of chest and heart disease. To publish scientific journals, periodicals and health education materials. To organize and maintain a library of the association. To render services to and promote rehabilitation programmer for the chest heart patients. To established branches of the Association in different parts of the country. To organize conference and seminars in the field of chest and heart disease. To perform all other functions which may be necessary for fulfillment of the above mentioned object.
