Antibiotic resistance is probably the gravest threat to the global health sector, affecting everyone, of any age, in any country. The resistance develops naturally but misuse and overuse of antibiotics in humans and animals are accelerating the process. Antibiotic resistance develops when pathogen changes its response to the mechanism of the antimicrobials. Microbe, not humans or animals, become antibiotic resistant.
