A Young Male with Breathlessness & Recurrent Haemoptysis

Abstract
Primary pulmonary hypertension (PPH) is a rare disease characterized by elevated pulmonary artery
pressure with no apparent cause, which usually presents with shortness of breath. We report a case of
a male patient who presented with dyspnoea. We diagnosed him as a case of PPH based on detailed
history, physical examination and investigations like electrocardiogram (ECG), chest radiography and
Doppler echocardiograhy.
